A loose display cable can prevent the screen from turning on, even when the laptop is running.
Open the VR Kit case.
Carefully lift the foam insert to access the internal components.
Locate the USB-C cable connected to the screen/monitor.
Unplug the USB-C cable.
Plug it back in firmly, making sure it is fully seated.
Close the case.
Wait up to 5 minutes for the screen to activate.
🖥️ In many cases, reconnecting the USB-C cable immediately restores the display.
If the screen is still black:
Check the power cable going into the laptop.
Unplug it and reconnect it securely.
Close the case and wait another 5 minutes.
This ensures the laptop is receiving power properly and can output video to the screen.
⏱️ Always allow 5 minutes for startup
