In most cases, the issue is caused by a temporary connection hiccup between the headset and the server.
On the Meta Quest 3, press the Meta (Oculus) button on the right controller.
Open the App Library.
Highlight the simulation app.
Select Close App (or force close it if available).
Reopen the simulation app.
✅ Why this works:
Restarting the app forces the headset to reconnect to the server running on the laptop.
The headset and laptop must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
On the headset, open Quick Settings.
Select Wi-Fi.
Make sure Wi-Fi is:
Turned on
Connected to the correct network
If unsure, disconnect and reconnect to the Wi-Fi.
⚠️ Guest networks, hotspots, or switching networks mid-session can cause the simulation not to load.
The simulation will not appear if the server on the laptop is not active.
On the laptop, verify that:
The server application is open
The server status shows running / active
If the server appears frozen or unresponsive:
Close it
Restart the server application
Once the server is running again, return to the headset and reopen the simulation app.
If restarting the app doesn’t work:
Hold the power button on the Meta Quest 3.
Select Restart.
Once the headset turns back on, reopen the simulation app.
This clears temporary system or network issues on the headset.
If the issue still persists:
Save any work on the laptop.
Restart the laptop completely.
Relaunch the server application.
Open the simulation app on the headset again.
✅ Most issues are fixed by restarting the simulation app on the headset
Ensure the headset and laptop are on the same Wi-Fi
Confirm the server is running on the laptop
Restart the headset or laptop if the problem continues
If the simulation still does not appear after these steps, please contact support for further assistance.
